Nacogdoches AAUW Receives AAUW Texas MAP Award

The Nacogdoches Branch of AAUW received the AAUW Texas MAP Award at the Spring 2020 Convening. To receive the award, Nacogdoches AAUW demonstrated Excellence in Membership, Advocacy, and Philanthropy by increasing local branch membership by 20%, hosting the 27th Annual Expanding Your Horizons Career Fair, sharing the History of Women’s Suffrage, and contributing to the Tyler 75th Anniversary Fellowship. Dr. Audrey G. Young (L),Treasurer, and Dr. Katherine P. Whitbeck, (R), President of Nacogdoches AAUW display the award. AAUW promotes the education and leadership of women.
